Linux

Recently I got interested in open source operating system (OS), Linux. There are different types of OS which are Linux based. Fedora, red hat, ubuntu, puppy Linux are among them. You need not pay heavily for purchasing these items. Most of them can be downloaded absolutely free. Even they can be burned on a CD or DVD and used as a bootable disc. This work using the random access memory (RAM).
Please try to utilise this resources which helps us to curb monopoly of certain OS like windows.

Horrifying facts

A middle aged lady came to me today with right sided chest pain. She came alone for the consultation. Her medical records showed that she is suffering from HIV. I had a detailed conversation with her regarding how she contracted the diseases.
She was married to a co worker while they were working in a hospital in Mumbai. Now it is 16Th year of marriage. During her second delivery, which was cesarean section she had bleeding and she underwent blood transfusion. Mother and baby were fine after the surgery. This happened in one of the nursing home there. Recently, last year end she had weakness, weight loss, fever and cough which was not responding to usual treatment. Blood examination found that she is HIV positive. Her husband and two children were screened, but luckily all were negative.
In India most of the families affected with HIV are shattered. Most of hospitals where these type of incidence, transfusion of HIV infected blood, has been reported were destroyed by mob violence. But her husband fully supported her and she is currently on treatment. Only her husband, no one else in the family know this grave fact.
This lady was very anxious and had lot of concern about others particularly her in laws knowing the truth. That can have devastating effects. This is the picture of a poor Indian affected by this disease.
Even though rules are stringent, still transfusion of HIV infected blood is occurring. This is of great concern to the human race, as there is no cure for the disease. Please think of it ......

Invite advertisment in your blog. earning?

Advertisment is essential for a succesful business. Our television channels are fertile area for ads now. More and more advertising agencies are now focusing on doing it on world wide web. The usage of electronic mail is increasing, hence people watching online ads are also more. Instead of paying heavily for erecting huge flex boards the advertiser can propagate his ideas through internet in a cost effective manner.
Google adsense is providing easy way to invite ads to your website. Similarly there is google adwords for the advertiser to put his ads. Only thing you have to do is register yourself with google adsense and follow the simple steps in that page. Money you earn depends on viewers of ads in your site. The more your site as well as ads are viewed the more you will become richer. Please don't try to earn more by clicking on the ads in your site by yourself. This unethical.
Try this out today itself.

PET bottles health hazard?

PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles are used widely now. Drinking water is stored and dispensed in these bottles. There won't be a meeting or travel with out PET bottles. In India I have noticed people reusing plasic bottles for storing drinking water. I once recieved a mail telling about the danger of reused plastic bottles. Studies have shown dangerous chemicals in high concentration, above the recommended level, in drinking water stored in these bottles. For example, antimony, formaldehyde, etc. People are not aware of the health effects of plastic materials. People of low strata uses these bottles daily for years together with our knowing the harmful effects. Several studies have been published on this regard but there is still no consensus on it. WHO (world health organisation) should come out with the required recommendations and the type of containers that can be used to store drinking water. There should be public awareness programs in this matter directed towards people of poor socioeconomic class.
